When life becomes increasingly unmanageable because of addictions, compulsivity, relational trauma or lingering feelings of anxiety and depression, you might come to believe that there is something wrong with you and lose sight on what is possible to change the situation. You might also be unwilling to ask another for help thinking that this will make you even more vulnerable. If you can make it alone through the initial step of reaching out, through therapy I will support you giving up the idea that “something is wrong with me ” and concentrate on what is possible to create positive change.  As a psychologist using evidence and research based modalities rather than the latest popularized therapeutic slogans, my emphasis is in using tried and tested methods that have been proven effective in the areas of depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, process addictions (sex addiction, gambling addiction, food addiction, spending, etc…) and all forms of trauma (especially relational/betrayal trauma).
